My journey as a Doula started when my husband joined the military. Any friends I had I would help them whether they needed a friend to go to the doctor with or a babysitter just to get some time to themselves. My husband spent 8 years in the service so I spent 8 years as an honorary Doula. I have been a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, and a cheerleader to all of my military family and friends. In 2018 my husband and I decided to leave the military and follow our dreams to start careers in our passions. In 2019 I met a Doula through Facebook who opened the door to this

beautiful Doula world. I started building my passion as a volunteer Doula in Sentara Princess Anne where I have Doula-ed un-medicated, medicated, and cesarean births. In early 2020 I completed my DONA workshop and as of April 2021, I am now a DONA Certified Birth Doula. I have dedicated my life to helping guide women through their birth journeys and will continue to do so through this Agency.

Elite Birth Doula

I became a doula because I’m passionate about supporting birthing people and their partners during the most vulnerable yet beautiful time in their life. I want to empower people in the birthing space and help guide them to have the experience they desire before, during, and after birth. I have worked in the social work field for the past 10 years advocating for families and people of all backgrounds. I became a full-spectrum doula last year.

I am also a wife and mother of 3. My goal is to continue to build up informed birthing people and their support so that more positive experiences can be felt.

Hi there!

I’m Saige and I’m a Bebo Mia certified Maternal Support Practitioner (That means I am certified in fertility, birth and postpartum work!) and I am DONA certified for TENS use during labor. At this time, I am choosing to focus on birth work as that is where my true passion lies. I have always been fascinated by everything surrounding pregnancy, birth, and babies even since I was a little girl. When I learned about what a doula is and what they do, I was hooked! I knew that’s what I wanted to do with my life and I’ve never looked back. I’ve been privileged enough to support many types of births including medicated, unmedicated, induction, and cesarean. I treasure guiding families as they find the right path for themselves through education and informed consent.

I am so excited to be part of this incredible team where we build each other up to better support you. Everything in solidarity! As I continue my lifelong journey as a doula, I am committed to being a safe space for families and birth workers alike. I want to be a part of a birth community focused on inclusion, information, kindness, and grace and that starts with me!

Hello, my name is Shiloh Winters! I am a Pre-Certified Birth Doula.

As a new member of the birth work community, I am eager and excited to support women through these life-changing moments! Being a resource and an aid for women as they navigate their birth experience is the most fulfilling and rewarding career I could hope for. Sharing evidence-based information and advocating for informed consent is crucial in any type of birth - you can’t know what you just don’t know! I’m excited to grow in this field and continue to acquire additional certifications and skills to be the best support person I can be.

People who are passionate about the ocean become marine biologists, people who are passionate about music become musicians, and people who are passionate about helping families on their way to one of life’s rawest moments become doulas! Our passions help guide and drive our paths through life, and I know I’m where I’m meant to be - next to you!
